Bruce W. Erickson, P.E.

Mr. Erickson, is a Professional Civil Engineer with over 35 years of experience in civil engineering. Mr. Erickson is the founder of Firwood Design Group and presently is enjoying his status as semi-retired. He is a registered professional in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Bruce has served as a project engineer and manager on numerous studies, design, and construction projects for private and municipal clients. These projects have included site and land development projects; street and sidewalk improvement projects; storm drainage and surface water facility projects; sanitary sewer extension and pump station projects; water main extension and storage facility projects. With this wealth of knowledge Mr. Erickson regularly serves as the quality assurance/ quality control manager for our projects.

Kelli A. Grover, P.E.

Ms. Grover is the Principal Engineer and a Professional Environmental Engineer with over 14 years of experience in civil/environmental engineering, including planning, design and construction oversight. Ms. Grover is a registered professional in Oregon, Washington, Montana and Idaho.

She has managed a variety of engineering projects ranging from large sanitary sewer replacements, water transmission line construction, fish-passage culvert designs,  wetland treatment designs, low-impact storm water designs and site development. Ms. Grover has also worked in the municipal sector as a project manager, overseeing sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water line repair and replacement projects. From her experience as a public works project manager Ms. Grover has developed a solid understanding of the capital improvement process and an appreciation of maintaining good communication between all entities involved in a project.

Dan L. Gilbert, P.L.S.

Mr. Gilbert is an Oregon registered professional land surveyor with over 25 years experience in the land surveying field. He is a our chief surveyor and has several years of experience as a lead surveyor, with most of his experience derived from his role as a party chief on numerous projects for private, municipal, and federal clients. Typical projects have included boundary and property line surveys, topographic and floodway surveys, subdivision plats, and design and construction surveys for roads, utilities and buildings.

Brad Bakke, E.I.T

Mr. Bakke is a registered E.I.T. with over 12 years experience in the surveying and civil engineering field. Mr. Bakke is an adept CAD designer and has designed commercial, residential and public site improvements, including water transmission designs, street designs, sanitary sewer and storm water facility designs. Mr. Bakke has experience in seeing a project thru from beginning to end and is very detail oriented, bringing a quality product to the table every time.

Robert Edmond

Bob is Firwood Design Group’s senior surveying and planning technician. He has over 27 years of experience in the civil engineering, surveying and planning field and has prepared plans for numerous subdivisions, partitions, boundary line adjustments,  apartment complexes, industrial sites and retail developments. Robert has spent 10 years with the Lincoln County Planning Department, and has extensive land surveying and mapping experience.

Michael Jordan

Mr. Jordan has over 29 years experience in the land surveying field and serves as our party chief. He brings a wealth of experience from numerous projects for private, municipal, state, and federal clients. Typical projects have included boundary and property line surveys, topographic and floodway surveys, design and construction surveys for water system improvements, sanitary and storm sewer improvements, street and sidewalk improvements, utilities, buildings, bridges, major highways, and river stabilization.

Lorry Weber

Ms. Weber has recently joined Firwood Design Group as our book keeper/ administrative assistant.  Lorry provides excellent customer service to all of our clients and assists in directing new clients to the best company contact to assist with their specific project needs.
